Question 1

Can I pause Meta Lead Ads without disconnecting Facebook?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Open Settings › Integrations › Meta Lead Ads and set Service status to Inactive. While it is inactive, BytePhase does not import new leads from your Page; set it back to Active to resume. Your Facebook connection stays in place, so there is no need to sign in to Facebook again.

Question 2

Does each staff member connect their own Google Calendar?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Google Calendar connection belongs to a staff login, not to the whole shop, so each person adds their own Calendar ID from the Calendar screen. Everyone then sees their own Google events next to the jobs, tasks and pickups BytePhase schedules, and connecting or removing one person's calendar does not affect anyone else.

Question 3

Can I connect more than one Google calendar to BytePhase?

Accepted Answer

BytePhase uses one Google calendar per staff login. To show a different one, click Disconnect next to Google in the Connected calendars panel, then click Connect and paste the new Calendar ID, remembering to share that calendar with the BytePhase service account as well. Other staff members can each connect a calendar of their own.

Question 4

What happens to my Google events if I disconnect Google Calendar?

Accepted Answer

Nothing happens to them in Google. Disconnecting removes only the saved Calendar ID from your BytePhase login. BytePhase reads your Google events live each time the calendar loads rather than keeping its own copies, so they simply stop appearing in BytePhase. Your jobs, tasks and pickups stay on the BytePhase calendar as before.

Question 5

Does each staff member connect their own Microsoft 365 calendar?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each person signs in with their own Microsoft account from the Calendar screen, and the connection is saved against their BytePhase login. A technician sees their own Outlook events next to the jobs and tasks BytePhase schedules for them, and connecting or disconnecting one person's calendar does not touch anyone else's.

Question 6

Are BytePhase jobs and pickups copied into my Outlook calendar?

Accepted Answer

No. Jobs, tasks, pickups, AMC renewals and invoice due dates are shown inside the BytePhase calendar, next to your Outlook events, but they are not written into Outlook. Only an event you create in BytePhase with Microsoft chosen as the calendar is added to Outlook.

Question 7

What access does BytePhase ask for when I connect Microsoft 365?

Accepted Answer

Three permissions: read your basic profile, read and write your calendars, and stay signed in so the connection keeps working without asking you every day. It does not ask for access to your mailbox or files. Microsoft shows its consent screen every time you connect, so you can review exactly what you are approving before you accept.

Question 8

Can I use Microsoft 365 and Google Calendar together in BytePhase?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A staff member can connect both. The calendar picker at the top of the Calendar screen then lets you view Microsoft, Google or All, together with BytePhase's own schedule, and when you create an event you choose which connected calendar it goes to.

Question 9

Where do I book a Shiprocket shipment in BytePhase?

Accepted Answer

From the job, when you add its delivery. Turn on Ship via Shiprocket, enter the package weight and dimensions, check the pickup and delivery addresses, then click Check available couriers, pick one and save. The switch appears only while Shiprocket is connected, and the staff member booking needs permission to manage integrations.

Question 10

Is the Shiprocket courier rate added to the job's delivery charges?

Accepted Answer

When you select a courier, BytePhase fills the delivery charges with that courier's rate as quoted by Shiprocket, so you can pass the cost on to the customer. The field stays editable, so you can round it, add packing or clear it before saving the delivery.
