How do I connect my WordPress site to BytePhase?

Install the free BytePhase Connector plugin, then open Settings, Integrations, Website Forms in BytePhase and choose WordPress — it creates your API key and shows it once. Paste your BytePhase web address, Store ID and that key into BytePhase, Connection in WP admin and click Test Connection. The whole thing takes about five minutes.

Do I have to rebuild my existing forms?

No. Contact Form 7 and Elementor Pro forms are captured exactly as they are, whatever their fields are called. You match those fields to BytePhase fields once, inside BytePhase, and the form itself never changes.

Which form plugins are supported?

Accepted Answer

Contact Form 7 and Elementor Pro out of the box, plus two built-in shortcode forms (an enquiry form and a self check-in form) that need no mapping at all. Any other theme or form plugin can submit through a one-line developer hook.

Question 6

Is customer data stored in WordPress?

Accepted Answer

No. Submissions are forwarded to BytePhase and only an operational delivery log — time, status, request ID — is kept in WordPress, capped and pruned automatically. The plugin also adds suggested wording for your site's privacy policy.

What happens if a submission fails to deliver?

Temporary failures are queued and retried automatically in the background with increasing delays. Retries reuse the same idempotency key, so a submission can never arrive twice. Anything that exhausts its retries appears on the Health screen with a one-click Retry button.

Is the plugin free?

Yes. BytePhase Connector is free; it connects your site to your BytePhase account, and everything it creates — leads, self check-ins, follow-ups — is part of your existing BytePhase plan.

What barcode label sizes can I print?

BytePhase prints barcode labels at 38 × 25 mm, 50 × 25 mm, 50 × 30 mm, 100 × 50 mm and 100 × 75 mm. 50 × 30 mm is the most widely used size for tagging devices and spare parts. Pick the size that matches the label rolls you buy, and set it once in your printer settings.

Does BytePhase support cash drawers?

Not yet — BytePhase does not currently drive a cash drawer. Everything else on a typical repair shop counter is covered: thermal receipt printing, A4 or A5 job sheets and invoices, barcode label printing and USB barcode scanning.
