What can a Zap do inside BytePhase?

Three steps. Two of them write: Create Customer (with contact, GST number, source and address) and Create Lead (with device type, brand, model and follow-up date). The third, Find Customer, is a read-only lookup by name, email or mobile that you run first to avoid creating a duplicate. Separately, a Self Check-In webhook can create an enquiry that converts into a job.

Will it create duplicate customers?

No, as long as you use Find Customer first. Values are passed by name rather than internal IDs, and BytePhase matches an existing record or creates a new one — so your Zap updates the right person.

What is the Self Check-In webhook?

It turns a customer's own check-in into work in your shop. The webhook creates an enquiry, resolves the device type, brand and model from the names you send, stores the serial number, any custom fields, an optional address and a pickup booking, assigns it to Reception and sends a push notification. From there one click converts it into a full job — the attachments and the pickup-and-drop record carry across, and the check-in is marked Converted.

In real time. The instant someone submits your Facebook lead form, Meta fires a webhook to BytePhase and a background job fetches the full lead — so it is in BytePhase within moments, not after a manual export.

A single click. You sign in with Facebook through a secure, CSRF-protected OAuth flow, and BytePhase automatically subscribes your Page to lead notifications. There are no tokens to paste or webhooks to configure, and your Page access token is stored encrypted.

What lead details are captured?

The lead's name, phone and email, along with the answers to your form's custom questions, which are mapped into custom fields in BytePhase so no context from your form is lost.

Can BytePhase post to my Facebook Page?

No. BytePhase requests only lead-retrieval and page-read permissions — enough to receive and fetch your leads and nothing more. It cannot post to your Page or act on your behalf.
