Can each business in BytePhase have its own UPI ID?

Yes. UPI IDs belong to the business they are added in and are never shared, inherited or copied between businesses, because a UPI payment reaches the bank account linked to that ID. Each invoice and message uses its own business’s UPI ID. If a business has no UPI ID added, customers see that business’s bank details instead.
