Open Calendar in BytePhase, click Connect next to Microsoft, sign in on Microsoft’s official page, and approve the calendar permissions. You are brought straight back, connected.
No. The sign-in happens entirely on Microsoft’s own page. BytePhase only receives access tokens, which are stored encrypted and refreshed automatically.
Yes — both personal Outlook.com accounts and Microsoft 365 work and school accounts are supported.
Yes. Click Create, choose Microsoft as the target calendar, and the event is written to Outlook. Editing or deleting it in BytePhase updates Outlook too.
Access can lapse if the account is not used for a very long period (about 90 days). Just click Connect again to re-authorise.
Click the red Disconnect link next to Microsoft in the Connected Calendars panel and confirm. To remove BytePhase from your Microsoft account entirely, visit account.microsoft.com, Privacy, App access.

Yes. Each person signs in with their own Microsoft account from the Calendar screen, and the connection is saved against their BytePhase login. A technician sees their own Outlook events next to the jobs and tasks BytePhase schedules for them, and connecting or disconnecting one person’s calendar does not touch anyone else’s.
No. Jobs, tasks, pickups, AMC renewals and invoice due dates are shown inside the BytePhase calendar, next to your Outlook events, but they are not written into Outlook. Only an event you create in BytePhase with Microsoft chosen as the calendar is added to Outlook.
Three permissions: read your basic profile, read and write your calendars, and stay signed in so the connection keeps working without asking you every day. It does not ask for access to your mailbox or files. Microsoft shows its consent screen every time you connect, so you can review exactly what you are approving before you accept.
Yes. A staff member can connect both. The calendar picker at the top of the Calendar screen then lets you view Microsoft, Google or All, together with BytePhase’s own schedule, and when you create an event you choose which connected calendar it goes to.
