How Region-Based Pricing Works
In short: region-based pricing means the price of a BytePhase plan is set separately for each country we sell in, rather than one worldwide figure. India is billed in Indian rupees and every other country in US dollars, your country is detected automatically, and the right price is applied at checkout — you never have to ask for it.
This page is for repair-shop owners evaluating BytePhase from outside India, and for anyone who has seen a different figure quoted elsewhere and wants to know which one applies to them. For the actual figures, see the pricing page — the single source of truth for what a plan costs.
Why does the price change from one country to another?
Because the same number means very different things in different economies. Software that costs a fortnight of wages in one country is a rounding error in another, so we set a separate price for each country we sell in rather than one global figure fixed in the most expensive market.
What stays constant is the product. Your plan and its features do not change with your country — only the amount does.
Which currency will I be billed in?
Indian rupees if your business is in India, US dollars everywhere else.
| Where your business is | Billed in |
|---|---|
| India | Indian rupees (INR) |
| Every other country | US dollars (USD) |
Billing in USD outside India keeps checkout and renewals predictable without us adding a conversion step. If USD is not your local currency, your bank or card issuer may apply its own conversion or foreign-transaction fee — that charge comes from them, not from us.
How does BytePhase know which country I am in?
We detect it from your connection the first time you open the pricing page. The prices shown are already the ones for that country — there is nothing to request and no form to fill in.
In practice, a shop owner opening the pricing page in Pune sees rupees and one opening the same page in Toronto sees dollars: same page, same plans, different amount.
If the detected country is wrong, or your business is registered somewhere other than where you are browsing from, tell us before you subscribe and we will sort it out.
Where do I see the price for my country?
On the pricing page — the only place we publish prices. It always reflects your country and the current plan lineup.
We deliberately do not reproduce figures anywhere else on this site. A number copied onto a second page goes out of date the moment the first one changes, and you would have no way of telling which one was real.
What decides the amount I pay?
Three things, in this order:
- Your country — each country has its own price for each plan.
- The plan you choose — tiers differ by the limits and features they include.
- Your billing cycle — a longer cycle costs less over the same period than a shorter one.
Nothing else changes the amount. There is no per-device charge and no setup fee.
Do I have to decide before I try it?
No. Every plan starts with a 15-day free trial — no card, no setup fee. You can run your shop on it for the full period and pick a plan only once you know it fits.
